Back River, Boothbay , Maine where we tend to spend a lot of down time when we can. Last year, too many things were happening so we did not get up here as much as we would have liked to our place.

This year we hope to spend more time here. This is a tidal river with a 12 foot water level change. This image was taken close to high tide. Early enough in the season so there are no lobster trap markers and not many boats. Water is a warm 45F. At the end of August water temp gets up into the balmy 50's.

Another oldie, taken in May 2007 with my first digital DLSR that I found while reorganizing my files. Thanks for looking and for you comments and critiques.

This is wonderful, Eva. I would want to spend time here too. I really enjoy the comp you used for this. It has such a pleasing feel to me. Great colors and fine detail. Wonderful reflections. I keep going back to look at this while typing...just for another look.

Pretty, but I don't feel it's among your better images. Water is a warm 45!?!?! I would die if I hit 45 degree water!!! I don't even think about getting wet until the ocean hits about 80 degrees! You folks are tough up in Maine!

The colors and reflections sure are nice. Overall it feels maybe a bit underexposed, at least the reflection, on my monitor. But it also looks quite natural in this regard.

I like it. The composition works, the colors are great and the reflection really ties it together.

A lovely peaceful scene Eva. The viewpoint is inviting and creates some great reflection of the sky.
The sweeping patterns of the clouds add a nice touch as well.
Nice work and repost looks great
