Where's The Water?+RWK

This image was taken in July of 2009 near a small stream in the northern Adirondacks. The little guy seemed indifferent to my presence for about 5 minutes, so was able to get quite close. Cropped square, minor curve/color adjustments.

Nikon-P80, 23mm, f4.5, 1/8s, ISO-64, tripod

C&C welcome, thanks for looking.

Gorgeous image Ron. I'm really drawn to the tones of the image as well as the many varied textures. Well seen!

Hi Ron,

I really like the subtle colours and the detail/texture you captured in this miniature scene. Definitely one of those shots where you think you can reach out and touch the textures...

Works for me as posted...thanks for sharing it...

Great detail in this one Ron. Nice of him to sit that still for you so you could use a low SS to maximize IQ. I like the natural coloration throughout, but would reduce the brightness of the bright green leaves on the bottom edge and left edge and TRC; IMO their brightness distracts from the main subject.

Appreciate the feedback. Vincent - you're right about the bright greens, and I decided that the brightness of the lighter spots on the lighter leaf just above the head was too bright as well. So, reprocessed and decided to emphasize the subject even more by doing a little vignetting. The end result is richer color, and more focus on the frog. Thanks.

Like the repost, Ron. This is a texture buffet, almost looks abstract.

GReat detail and color on this guy. The yellow leaves add a nice color contrast.
