Hi Folks,
It's been a long time since I posted for one reason or another.

Sat mesmerized this morning watching the swallows collecting dried grass and mud for their nest building.

Not had much to post recently, and not really sure about this one, but I am sure you will tell me. I wasn't too happy with the viewpoint, but I had to take what I could get.

1D Mk3, 300mm +1.4 tc, ISO 400, f5.6, 1/1600.

All the best,

Fran :toast:

OK so not the best viewpoint (it's all subjective anyway!) but what a lovely bird. Sometimes you've got to press the button when you still have a chance.

It is great to see these back, preparing the nests.

Great colours on the plumage.

Cheers

A lower viewpoint might have been better, but I do not see how you could have got it without getting too much foreground mush in the way. An interesting behavioural shot, and personally I would be pleased with it. Good to see you posting on here again.
