On look out for a kill

I was following this Tigress, when she took a narrow trail, which happened to go to lake area. One end of the trail happened to end here and I chose to wait. After about half an hour, she appeared very slowly, rising from the terrain below, as she was listening to the deer sounds and looking for hunting opportunity. Due to the unavoidable undergrowth, I could just get couple of frames.
Thank you so much for your kind attention & views !

Hi Jagdeep, nice pose, emerging/peering through the vegetation with a great intense stare, well done. Nicely positioned and I very much like the low POV here. Although viewing on laptop, I just wonder if a little selective lightening (a fraction) in Curves may help the face and a slight drop in the red channel overall?

TFS, always good to see these guys. :wavey:

Jagdeep, looks like a hunting stance to me. The open mouth, alert eyes and slighly lowered head all show that. The low pov is a good one. Color looks good on the cat, although the fg and bg are probably a bit red at least on my Nec.
How is it she didn't notice you laying in wait?

Intense stare from the creature and I think the vegetation works pretty well since the face is clear. Not my favorite of yours, but wonderful none the less

Great low perspective ! The tigress has a huge "presence " in the frame, especially when viewed large.

Must have been quite a thrilling encounter by the sounds of it Jagdeep :^)

Really like the upward angle of view you acquired and the intent look in the subject's eye you captured. In a perfect world those bits of foliage wouldn't be covering part of the Tiger's side but then it might not look as natural as this does. Very well done :^)

I truly appreciate the story of your decision making that led to positioning yourself for this capture. Fine work. I believe you maximized the situation. As a matter of taste, I would have preferred to have foliage rather than the light background, but this works fine and you managed the techs well.

Nice comp and I like the low angle, color balance looks a little funky warm.
