An abstract image of an agave plant taken here in Phoenix a couple weekends back. I've already made a couple small prints of this image and it has come out extremely well...I hope you all like it.

Wonderful patterns and I like that the center of the plant is lighter than the surrounding areas, making it look like it's glowing.

This is about as good as it gets, Michael. Amazing luminosity, light and composition. I'd love to see a big print of this one.

Pretty sweet, Michael! I don't know if I could pull it off as well as you have here. Nice to find a flawless specimen to work with too.

Agaves and corn-lilllies have to be photographers best friends
This is extremely cool--the light makes this special! I also like a square crop of the bottom portion. :wavey:

Very nice, Michael. Very nice indeed. Agave are a personal favorite, and this one is done very well. For as simple as they can seem to be, and as common as the plant can be across the southwest, it's hard to make a great shot of one.
