Back after a long absence (been shooting almost exclusively in NYC for a while now) to wander in the dense morning fog very early this past Sunday morning. This vantage point, right at the primary dune on Fire Island - the Atlantic is maybe one hundred feet behind me - looking into the center of the open swale of the barrier island. The fog was beautiful - adding mystery to an otherwise familiar scene.

I think this is a nice shot with the boardwalk leading the viewers eye - though I'm not crazy about the almost sepia tone of it and the vignetting. Maybe just a straight B&W conversion?

I think this is a very compelling image - the weathered and uneven boardwalk, misty feel, and sepia tones. I wouldn't change a thing!
Glad you're back -

I like the pathway disappearing into the fog, the darker vegetation along the boardwalk and the nice details in the wood rails. A very compelling image.

I like this alot, Jim. It has a great mood and feel. It works well for me as you have it here. Makes me think of a nice pencil drawing, which I did a lot of at one time. Nice work!

Your processing adds a sense of mystery Jim. I like it as is. Very ethereal.

Love as posted. Sepia tones are great.
Vignetting? I don't see it.

This is a different take on a foggy scenic. I like it and the use of the sepia tone.
