WC480 Fall Into Winter

Early snow laces the scrub oak in fall colors in my front yard. Please see the larger version for better detail. Critiques and comments would be greatly appreciated, thank you! [compression might be hurting this a bit, I had to set it at 50 to hit the size limit for both images]

I like this a lot, Scott. The snow-rimmed oak leaves really pop out of the chaos and the branch helps tie it all together. I'd imagine this is a really cool print.

Hi Scott, really very nice it must be a nice print.
I know compression hurts this type of scenes too much detail, but hey that's good!

Wow! This is spectacular. I am generally not a great fan of images with so much going on, but this one works perfectly. The repetition of color, tone, shape, and texture simplifies the image... so it doesn't feel cluttered. There are no distracting elements. And that beautifully shaped branch gives me a point of interest where I can rest my eye as it leads me neatly through the image. Wonderful shot, Scott. It's just beautiful.

I love the detail, color, and chaos here Scott. The frosty coating and light take this to another level.
