A Willow Warbler from the weekend, only reason I know its the willow warbler was because I also got the chiffchaff, I was listening to them singing, else I wouldn t have known which was which.

Love the overall comp Karen. The perch and BG are great for this bird. I like these "understated" type species. The nice head turn makes this one nice as well as the feet position and open beak. A very small nit is the lack of critical detail around the face and eye, but just a small nit on a nice image.

This is such a gorgeous bird with subtle plumage coloration and sooooooooo well captured. The larger version shows many positive qualities like the comp. perch, OOF complimentary BG... but I appreciate the feather detail and nice head turn. Very nice!

Great capture and excellent BG
A perfect perch for this guy but as Ron said a little soft around the eye. :wavey:

Very nice, Karen. I like the pose, perch and bg. The bird comes across as just slightly soft to my eye.

I love the comp and singing pose here Karen. If it is soft it doesn't bother me. Still a great image. :toast:

Only the smaller version is soft. The larger image is very sharp and has a lot of detail. Nicely done.

Beautiful look at this warbler, Karen. That vertical perch is great and I really like that head turn.
