Been over a month since I've posted anything. The Texas wildflower season was pretty much a complete bust due to drought

and I didn't even go hunting seriously with the dim prospects at my usual haunts. However our garden has recovered very well from our second hard winter in a row. My shooting has been limited by work and family commitments - all of them good BTW - but I think I may be able to get back in the game on a more regular basis. Many thanks to Pat for maintaining leadership while I was AWOL.
There are a number of our day lilies already blooming but this particular plant is my personal favorite and this is its first bloom of the year. It is loaded with buds and since there is no drought in our garden I'm anticipating a bumper crop and many opportunities. This one will burst open overnight so I'm hoping for some good light in the morning to capture its full glory. All comments welcome.>=))>

This is really outstanding in my book, I love the warm colors and OOF BG but best is the "ribbed" style texture detail on the petals. Beautifully capture..... wonderful light and settings. Blow this one up REAL BIG and mat it, then if you email me I can give you may address so you can send it!
