Submerged
by Zack Clothier
This was taken last week during our recent "100 year flood". This is the Hudson River flooding Route 28 in North River, located in the Adirondack Mountains. The last time flood waters forced closure of this road was back in 1870. If you look closely you can see two brave kayakers just to the left of the sign reading "Hudson River".

5 commentsThis is really graphic Zack- well composed with all the right elements in all the right places. The kayakers are hard to see in this format, but I suspect they'll be more visible in larger versions viewed close. They're a nice element for "discovery" by viewers who take the time to look closer.
