This little guy (Harbor Seal) was born during pupping season last year. Super cute!

VERY cute!
Sure would like to see a larger version!
The white waves here are pretty hot, and could be brought down a lot, as they really pull the eye from the seal. If you have the pixels, some of the waves could be avoided altogether with a tighter crop.
The image could also use some CCW rotatiuon to level the sand and seal.
A little work on the eyes would bring them out more, and reducing the blue channel would eliminate the odd blue halo around the seal.
Nice image deserving of a little more work !

Hey mum look: I'm swimming !!! I copy Sandy's comments. I like the droplets coming from the right fin movement. I would try to remove the two darker areas in TLHC and TRHC.

Huge appeal in this image Matthew :^) Love the flapping fin throwing up some water and sand, and the shocking pink visible in it's open mouth sends this one over the top, very well done :^)

Hi Matthew,
Welcome to the NPN Wildlife Gallery - nice first post and definitely high in cute factor! I hope this is only the first of your many contributions (images AND comments) to this gallery. Love the open (and almost happy-looking) mouth and the active flipper.
Cheers...

Extra cute and seems to have a lot to say. Like the red, open mouth and the flipper action. I could see going to a tighter crop, also. But very cool image.

Welcome to NPN !
Cool first post, as mentioned, whites need to be controlled a bit.
