Spring greens along Tate Creek in the Rogue River Canyon, April 2011. This creek was close to our 3rd night campsite during our inflatable kayak (IK) Rogue River trip.

Ahh, I'll be up here in a few days! Lower right feels a bit empty, both for the lack of green compared to the rest of the image and the lack of subject matter. But maybe it helps the eye to explore into the background. I do like the comp a lot, just wish for some moss on that spot. =)

Really nice greens. They contrast well with the silky white of the flowing water. Your part of the country has such a variety of green and this shot illustrates that nicely.

This is just fantastic, Scott. I love the rich color in this. I just received a new NEC monitor and this image has so much life with the vibrant greens and scattered reds. The composition is fantastic--I love the perspective of the rushing cascades. Your choice of shutter speed shows the motion in the water nicely but also retains just the right amount of detail. I love everything about this!!

The sound must've made for some nice sleeping. My only thought might be to burn the LRC corner a bit to match the tonality on the opposite bank.

Your composition really keeps my attention, Scott! The larger version reveals beautiful details. I also appreciate the tonal range of the natural green shades. Great work!

Nice work Scott. The water is perfect, nice and bright but not blown and lots of great textures. Well done.

That's beautiful! The greens are amazing in these areas of oregon. I used to take long road trips to get to far away places, but have not been able to in the last couple/few years. The next time I get the chance, it will most likely be Oregon, or possibly Zion. I'd love to see this area, or of course the gorge.

Lovely Scott, the varying color throughout the water and below makes it especially nice. Real sharp!
