Andrius,
Very dramatic and moody. Love the backlighting on the cloud. Well done conversion.

Wonderful drama, Andrius. A bit abstract with the B&W presentation and the subject hidden by clouds. The ridge on the right provides some wonderful clues and I really like the clouds textures.

I like the abstract, dreamlike, yet dramatic mood in this image.

Thank you all for the very encouraging comments . Stuart, I too thought that the bottom looks a bit muddy. Do you have any suggestions how to deal with it? Brightening up the whole picture would blow out the bright clouds behind. I also wouldn't want to tone different areas separately cause I'd loose the contrast between the dark and bright that makes this picture...

Quite an atmospheric Mt Cook and the conversion plays well on the drama. The highlights are just a bit too hot for me in places.

Andrius,
I really love the feel of the B&W treatment of this image. Playing around with different crops, I think that it may be even more powerful with some clipped from the left...and slightly less from the top....maintaining the aspect ratio. Perhaps adding a little contrast to the lower 1/4 of the image would intensify the drama at the top of the frame even more.
All that said...they're minor thoughts to an image that grabbed me...even as a thumbnail!
Nicely done.
