..and some oranges. Took this shot at Bear Mountain State Park N.Y this past weekend.

Canon 20D, (RAW), 18-55mm @18
Circular polarizer.
Normal post-processing with a slight crop off the top and raised the saturation a bit in PS.

Thanks for looking!

This is a little different that the usual stream shots posted here. I like it. I like the diagonal of the stream leading you in. And the yellow-green trees are very nice.

Very nice image Ken, Composition, colors, and detail its all working here. I like the FG rocks that lead you into the stream which leads you the the vertical lines of the trees in the BG, very nicely done. :toast:

Wow..thanks for all your comments :wavey:

I hung around this tree and stream for the better part of the AM.. The tree was compeling, the brightest leaves in the forest. I walked around it, stood under it, sat under it and shot it from all angles. I had to wait for the wind gust to stop between some shots. We had a great time, me and the woods well, I can only speak for myself

This is very nice and the color really pops. Wondering if it would work better without cropping the space above the bright bush. Would also be curious to see it with a faster shutter to get just a little bit of detail in the water.

Very nicely done Ken. The warm and cool colors really sing in this image. This was well worth the wait IMO.

Ditto all that was said above. I especially like the saturation and the way the dark water contrasts with the bright leaves.
