Great shot- Awesome colours (also in the background), and excellent sharpness on bird (and meal)- At first the subject seemed too much centered, but maybe with that perch your composition choice works fine on this image- very well done, Fabio

Nice techs on this shot David. Great sharpness and detail on the bird and Dragonfly. The BG is super for this bird as the colors go so well with the color of the bird. Very nice.

Just perfect - exceptional colours in bird and BG, great pose with prey, interesting perch and the comp, although "centered" works fine because of the long, balanced perch that echoes the bird's pose.

Good work, David. You must've had fun on that trip. Beautiful bird and catch, the rugged perch is perfect for it.

Dave, I absolutely love the colors of the background with those of the bird. Excellent sharpness and I like the stretched out posture of the bird, the feeding behavior and your composition. Very nice.

The colours of these birds are just exceptional and you have great light here to show them.
The dragonfly which is one of there favourites adds to this.
Great BG :wavey:

That's a very striking image. A really colourful bird, sharp throughout showing great feather detail. The dragonfly capture gives the image a real lift. I like the background as well. Graham
