Colors of Spring

I took this shot one month ago in the Danube Floodplains in Lower Austria. The diversity of colors and textures was delightful.

Very nice study of the trees here, Peter. Both the lower and upper half are nice ideas by themselves. That one thin tree in the foreground is a bit of a distraction and the lower part would flow a little better without it, but that's how it is.

Lovely contrast of colors Peter. My only nit is I wish there was slightly more undergrowth visible at the bottom as it seems to be a different shade of green entirely.

I like how the tree trunks transition from dark to light where shielded by the leaves. A bit more inclusion of the bright foreground foliage to anchor the image would be nice. Nice scene.

I like this one. My only nit is that I would like to see more undergrowth......and I agree with andreas about the one thin tree in the foreground....beautiful scene and well processed

Nice one Peter! I like the centered composition very much. It portrays this tree and its features very well. Technically this looks excellent. The details are amazing and this has an almost 3d quality for me.

I really like the top half--and i really like the bottom half, but not so much the two together. The halves have a nice complex abstract quality going for them, but they are so different that putting them together doesnt mesh very well. :wavey:
