Shot last fall and, I think I posted this before, but it fits the theme so well that here it is again.

It's great how the mushrooms are pushing up that leaf. The warm browns of the leaf add a lot to this picture.

What are you and Stan winking about? Are these magic mushrooms? I don't see any fairies. It's hard to go wrong with browns. Nice color scheme. It's an action photo. You caught them lifting the leaves.

It's like playing peek-a-boo with a hidden treasure. What a great shot, Charlie.

Great colors and details Charlie, good use of fill?
I too like the look of the fungi, as they push up the leaf that shrouds them.
Well done :toast:

Very nice, Charlie. The details are wonderful. I love the rich colors - as others have said - and the miniature scene is really charming. Beautifully done.

Charly, this is one of the most original microscapes for me I have ever seen! I especially like the way the mushrooms look sheltered by the leaf, the warm tones still add to this impression.
