Sandy,
Very nice comp on this. They both appear to be looking at something. Terrific depth of field with both birds looking sharp. Nice job on the whites. These are nearly impossible to expose in full sunny conditions.

Can see a mother's love and care for her baby in this one. Very nice, Sandy! :toast:

This doesn't have quite the emotional impact as the previous pictures of stilts you posted but it is equally engaging. I love the turn of the baby's head and the graceful raised leg of the adult.

Wow Sandy, this is fantastic. Technically excellent, and the mother/child comp puts it over the top. Love the water coming off her leg too. Really nice! :toast:

Another nice capture of these two Sandy. Honestly, I don't feel this one has the same intimate feel and impact as the other one, but still a nice behavior shot overall and that little one is the cutest little thing! I look forward to seeing even more of this series from you.

Looks just like his mama  Technically excellent, nice work getting both birds sharp. I like the exploring youngster's inquisitive look and being able to see the red eye of it's watchful parent. Another Beauty Sandy!!!

Another beauty Sandy - I like the mother's concentration on the young bird. Thanks for your reply to my comment about numbers of photographers. I'm heading to SE Asia in October and from what I can gather I might bump into a lot more photographers there.

cheers

Great interaction. Like the way the chick is looking toward the ground.

Nicely saturated colors Sandy, great contrast too. I especially like the size difference shown here.
Both very nicely in focus, not easy..A big 10+ on the cute scale :toast: :toast:

I like this image a lot Sandy. It just reinforces the idea/feeling of how fragile life is. I mean look at that little stilt, the vulernability is just palpable. I like this shot better than your last.

I like this one a lot too Sandy. Nice exposure, good sharpness on both birds and the concern of the parent and the vulnerability of the chick are obvious. Nicely done.

Sandy:
Lots to like in this one - posture of chick and parent, habitat, water droplets, exposure, etc. Neat capture.
