Here's another shot of the hooded warbler from last spring. I think they are so cool looking. I got my gear back and will be heading out tomorrow morning. Hope I see a few late migrants

These are cool looking Cheryl. I have never seen one, but love the look. Nice perch and colors. Also sharp where it counts, but think the slow shutter speed hurt you a tad on the tail with the little bit of motion blur...but that is a very small nit on a very pleasing shot.

Love the overall comp Cheryl. really a nice perch and BG to go along with a great looking bird. Bird is sharpen enough where it counts to make this work fine for me.

Beautiful Cheryl! The lighting makes the shot for me. The dappled light on the bird, with the "spotlight" on the face, really accentuates the hooded plumage. Very cool...I love it! :toast:

Cheryl,
Another great image of this little guy. I really love the background and the perch is stellar. Yellows were handled expertly. Great head angle. Would not change a thing about this one. :toast:

Awesome Warbler. I would love to get some more shots of these in my files. Everything is good here, but if the bird were in more even light it would be over the top.

Wonderful shot. And I'm so jealous. I just got back from a trip where we had a few singing, but the lighting was bad and I only had marginal looks at one of these. The isolation here is fantastic. Good light, pose, and perch and plenty sharp. Congrats. :toast:
