Very cool looking bird Rob. I like the low perspective and the DOF and you handled the exposure well. Cheers

Rob,
What a cool looking bird. Good feather detail and pose. You handled the whites perfectly. You must have been on your belly to get this image. Love the low perspective and appropriate depth of field. The two little sprigs of grass in front of him are a little bit distracting but not real bad. Wonder if you could clone those out? Terrific bird Rob!!

Damn Rob, you have some cool birds in Australia. Every post is a new species just about. I love this shot. The B and W plumage is a stunner and the detail you captured is super. I love the habitat in this shot. No nits from me.

Rob, what an amazingly clear image of this bird. It just jumps out of its surroundings.

A very interesting bird well presented Rob. You've done well on a tough exposure and I like the setting. The two grass sprigs don't bother me in the least.

I like this setting Rob and it's an excellent POV. Very good job on this difficult exposure, nice details as well.

I really like the alert pose, mixture of colors in the BG (especially nice with the B&W bird), and DOF. :toast:
