Another Fox Kit shot. . . this one shows a fox kit that was a little curious and walked closer toward me (though not too much closer).

Nikon D300s 300 f4 + 1.7X TC HH lying down
f/6.7
1/1000s
ISO 500
-.67 EC

Cropped to 70%, sharpened using smart sharpen, minor adjustments to levels and curves all in CS5 on 27" iMac

What a cute face Luke! It looks like he wants you to play with him. What fun it must be to have this family of fox kits to photograph.

He's sooo cute!! I love this shot, nothing to distract from the intense curiousity of this little one. This is very nice.

Appears to be very curious and the raised paw adds to it.

One of your most captivating ones Luke of this series. The direct eye-contact combined with the approaching forward moving pose is drawing all the attention of the viewer to the little fox immediately and it is hard to look anywhere else in the frame. My only small nit is regarding the composition; IMO the subject is a bit too centered. Depending on where you have room in your original capture I would try a different crop.

the courious stare make the image. But the color, dof and comp are great. The lifted paw adds to the image also.

Luke, this is my favorite of the series for the intensity of the pose. A small, easily fixed nit...on my monitor the texture of the forehead appears slightly oversharpened in both sizes.
