I got this photo while visiting Blucher Park in Corpus Christi, Tx during the April migration this year. I was photographing by a small creek bed with plenty of trees & shrubs hoping to get some spring warblers. I had luck on my side and got some Painted & Indigo bunting images.

Canon7D, 300 mmf2.8 lens, f6.3, ISO 400, 1/400, Aperture priority with tripod

Comments & views appreciated in advance.

A really appealing image Carlos. I love the bird and habitat surrounding it. Nice head turn and catchlight. The larger image appears to lack some of the very fine detail in the feathers and around the eye indicating possibly a largish crop. However, this is still a very nice image. One I would like to have in my files.

Nice!
Great pose and head-turn, good environment and BG.
You've lost some detail in the larger version - still, a very sweet image.

Very nice pose and detail. Love the greenery around the bird. A little tight on the left side and a bit too much on top I think.
