Baby House Finch in its classic "demanding" pose, yesterday morning around 10:00..Remind you of your kids? :)

F/8, 1/1000th, ISO 640, 1D M3, 300mm f/2.8 + 1.4x ext.
I had to bring up Dad's face a bit, and tone down the juvenile due to the lights direction here..Short 10 fps burst.

Nice interaction portrayed here and I like the overall composition with the way the branch goes through the scene. It does seem the reds are a little bright but hard to tell with these finches as they really vary in color. Nice job in getting this shot with both birds in focus, way to go.

Great behavioral image with a nice diagonal perch and smooth bg to set the birds off. It looks almost like a curtsy from the youngster. My only wish is that the male's face was a bit brighter and sharper, but you did what you could with that.

Wonderful interaction you captured well here Howard. Junior looks especially terrific, dad's not quite as sharp as he didn't line up for you but certainly sharp enough to work well. Great shot.

Looks like the chick's already nearly the same size as Dad, no wonder the he seems reluctant to give it anything more to eat ;^)

If this were mine I think I might try to brighten Dad's eye a little more ... and that's the only thing I can think of to suggest, i.e. pretty much picture perfect as is ;^)
