Greenwood Dice on Felt

Hi All you folks here. I have not posted for ages, busy in the field, its biological field season. So not a lot of comments on others photos, but I promise to do so. Thats very important I think.

I have seen these many times in all seasons on the way through the little old mining town of Greenwood, they are farm shacks, but it was very bright. I stopped the camera down, old wood can be flat in that light. This is cropped to take the other junk nearby out, and processed slightly in Nic Effex to get the dreamy appearance I like to see on old weathered wood. The green is true to the color at the time. I think they look like dice, thus the name. Shot with a Canon 5D II and a 24-104 at about 70, ISO 125, stopped down. No real details, sorry must get to work in the reservoir. This might be considered an art shot, but arent they all?? Ha ha. Kat Enns

Very cool, Kat. Composition is excellent, you've captured a feel for these old shacks. Nice color in the field also
