Swallows - Shouting !

Gallery: Regional: UKNPPosted May 28, 2011164 views11 comments

I have been back to keep an eye on a pair of Swallows that are nesting locally as part of a "Swallows in flight" project that I have undertaken.

This image I believe shows the female protesting to the males advances.

It is difficult to get sufficient shutter speed and DOF and for this image I tried a little fill in flash to help lift the shadows a touch.

Canon 1DMK4, 800mm, f11, 1/1000, ISO800, fill flash

C&C welcome

Cheers

Austin

Very well executed and excellent flash control, Austin. This has turned into a superb series and one you should be very proud of; I know I would be.
