Fern on Fern

With not many flowers around, its time to play with the Ferns  . Of course, I placed the smaller one on the bigger green fern branch.

Nikon D200, 200mm F/4 Micronikkor, F/11, 1/10 Sec, ISO200, Tripod and Natural Light.

Thanks a lot for your comments on Tulip Twins and do let me know what you think of this one.

Ram this is even more beautiful than many a flower. Interesting composition a poëtic light and surprising cleanliness.

Very artistic. As typical with ferns, the frond design is great, but the color in this, with the metallic green of the smaller fern (which I presume is the underside) on top of the spring green of the larger, really makes this stand out. :toast:

Love the patterns, composition and light Ram but mostly I think I like the complementary red line drawing in that nice sea of green. Masterfully done.

Ram:
The thumbnail does not reflect the beauty that is seen in the larger image. The graphical lines, soft light and the contrast just make this image so soothing to look at.

This is lovely, Ram...simple, nice diffused lighting, beautiful lines and wonderful color palette of greens with a touch of red. One of your better ones IMO.

Great detail and colors here. I like how the sheen on the small fern really sets it apart from the larger bg fern. Very well done and a nice approach!

Ram: I'm late to this party and frankly had overlooked the thumbnail but I am so glad I got back to it. The purple in the small fern makes this shot for me. Excellent comp and arrangement. This is understated but superb. Bravo! >=))>
