Columbia Gorge. Lots of water this spring. This is nothing but a mud trickle in the summer.

I love the light and color here Daniel. The large view is fantastic and really shows off a nice glow and some amazing detail. Your comp makes for a great view. Beautiful work.

Very nice comp and color Daniel. Great detail in this image. I just came back from the gorge and agree with your assessment of the high water.

Very nice scene here Daniel! I like everything about it including the square crop! Great job and original too. :toast:

The only thing I see to maybe do is lighten (maybe by dodging) your water a tad more and maybe allow the highlights in the water to have a cooler white/color balance. Then there is a small area of highlights on the right upper edge that could maybe go...

Your composition is exquisite, Daniel, and the color and detail is flat out gorgeous. The square format works remarkably well. Outstanding.

Beautiful quality of light, Daniel. I like the intimate mood and rich greens of the forest. I like the way the stream moves through the frame, and the large tree on the left as the focal point. It's the light that really gives this shot it's magic for me.

This is extremely lush and uncluttered. The thing about the gorge I like most, beautiful uncluttered scenes. I imagine there are some cluttered spots too, but enough pristine spots for you to shoot. I like the warm white balance here too. Nice!

You gotta love those lush greens. Great call on the SS choice, Daniel. The water has motion and detail. My only suggestion; and this is being very picky; would be to crop or clone out those two bright spots in the URC.

Wow, this is just luscious. Haven't seen such rich green scenery in a long time. Wonderful composition.

The larger version really shows off the detail in the image. I might add some selective contrast to the water to make it pop out a bit more. Good detail in the water and I don't think some contrast would blow it out. I like the intimate feel of this shot compared to the more "epic" scenes of waterfalls that have been presented. :toast:
