A shot of one of the nesting pair by me. Although the weather has been nice this weekend, we have had rain 26 of 30 days, making the photo ops with these birds few and far between. This was taken about a month ago. Shot horizontally and cropped vertically. I thought the wing position lent itself to a vertical crop, but may need a bit more room.

Wonderful action pose. Powerful. I like the vertical composition. Don't know if have just a touch more room on the bottom or not? Great details. Both the larger and smaller versions look like they may be a touch oversharpened, especially evident on the head. Very minor issues with an excellent image.

WOW! Doug this is definitely a great shot. By the look in its eye this Bald Eagle definitely means business. Great capture.

Doug:
I like the vertical comp. Terrific capture. Hope the weather cooperates and gives you more opportunities.

Awesome detail Doug, wow!! Great color, detail, etc., amazing. Scroll down just a bit, and I would probably cut off that bottom part of the branch to emphasize the bird even more... just leave enough below the talons for room. Minor, this is incredible IMO. Vertical works too!

Perfect timing! Like the strong vertical composition and the details in the wings.
