This has sat untouched on my hard drive for a couple years. Finally got around to processing it. I pulled back the saturation a bit. It really was that intense. Hope you enjoy.

Whoa, the thumbnail really grabs your attention! The colors are incredible and the comp works well. I might try and warm up the rock just a bit. Maybe even lessen the contrast slightly, or the sharpening. Something looks a little "hard" to me. Beautiful!

What fascinating colors, Scott! The rock and tree make for great anchors for the eye. Nicely done.

Talk about in your face color! The reflection has a very painterly feel to it. A very beautiful abstract, Scott.

Wow that is some reflected color right there! :toast:

I too would neutralize the rock more...

Beautiful reflection - I like the slight movement and the rock to ground the image. Very cool shot.

A gorgeous image. I love the range of colors here. I would recommend just a small crop from the bottom. For some reason I like it at a more "squat" aspect ratio.

Thanks very much for the comments everyone. I cooled off the rock a bit, sharpened a tad less, and tried a 4x5 ratio. Please let me know your preference.

Scott,

This is one fantastic reflection image. I love the reflected colors and the ripples are providing such wonderful texture.

My only nit/suggestion would be to selectively reduce the blue/cyan in the rock. It's a little too strong for me, even though I like the blues in the reflection. weird.

I think one could have a field day photographically with this one. Great job.

This is very nice, Scott. I agree about reducing the sharpening effect. Beautiful layers of colors. I would also warm up the rock a little.
