I really like the wasp/hornet? and the overall impression of this, but how bad do the overly bright flowers look? Feedback on that and anything else would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Come on, Barbara. You know this is fantastic. Now you went and did it. You left the cat out of the bag and now we all know you've been photographing for... for.................... AWHILE!

PS: this is wonderful! :jump: :jump:

Barbara:
There is nothing wrong at all with this image. Perfect sharpness, DOF and sweet clean bg. The flowers are fine.

Great capture, Barbara! Great DOF and details on the critter. I like the coloring, comp, BG, and the lighting for this. The flowers look great as they are. It's nice to be able to take pictures once in a while when you can comfortably sit on a bench and zoom in on whatever scenes come to you! So often it seems we are in very contorted positions to get the shot we want.

Great shot- Awesome detail, composition and BG- Taking such a sharp image with that pretty active species surely isn't an easy task- Well done, Fabio
