f/9
ISO 400
Focal length 250 mm

I like the brightness and the darkness, but is it too bright and/or too dark? All feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Looks more like Gaillardia or Indian Blanket Flower to me, Barbara.

Love the placement in the frame Barbara. Beautiful capture of the flower but the bg is what makes the image for me. Beautiful work.

Very nice Barbara. I love the slightly crooked leaning stem. The flower (can't comment on the id) really pops against that gorgeous background. :toast:

Good isolation and the insect adds a nice element. The colors are quite vibrant as well

This is beautiful Barbara! I really like the soft BG, and how that flower pops off the frame.

Beautiful, Barbara! I normally would crop a picture like this tighter but I think the decision to include the long stem adds an interesting feel to this photo. Love the BG contrasted with the flower. I think Ram is right with the ID. I used to have these in my garden for several years until they didn't come back.

This is very lovely, Barbara ! I like especially the isolation of the flower and the strong, complementary colours - all beautifully handled, I think, because you have got the light/dark aspect absolutely right.

Barbara: Ram got the ID. I like the color palette especially. I also like the bee and almost wish it was a bit more prominent. Nicely done. >=))>

You are dialing in this flora thing! You have an excellent comp, nice light, great color, good dof and pof. Good bokeh and background as well. The only suggestion I could have would be to crop just a little in from the sides and top to make the flower even more prominent. Really well done!
