Nice details and color. Like the way the mountain range mimics the shape of the bird.

Nice, Simon. I like the way the curve of the bg horizon works with the back of the pigeon. :toast:

Simon, the pigeon looks good and I love the deeply earthy colors of perch and background.

Nice colors on the bird and bg. I'm constantly amazed how nature always gives us such complimentary colors and this image's bg really shows that nicely. Well done. Sharon

Lovely bird and the comp is very nice with the curve of the bird and the rock. Blues of the bird and sky work well together. I think the larger image needs just a bit more sharpening.

Just when I thought I was familiar with every species of Pigeon there is, up you pop with yet another one! Seriously, I think Pigeons are perhaps one of the most underrated birds in the world, most people only being able to conjure up images of the common Rock Pigeon in their minds, while in fact there are good number of much more strikingly attractive Pigeons to be found around the globe.

Many thanks for sharing this beauty with us Simon, I absolutely love that crest and the subtle yet beautiful colours of it's plumage, and you did a terrific job of exposing them well :^)

A very interesting pigeon with some nice feather patterns, I like the light, look and pose and the larger image has some nice detail, way to go.
