I just sent off my three-year NPN renewal, so I might as well go public. I am on the right side of this family photo, with my wife Anne on the left and our three fiftyish children in the middle.

We were in the wonderful Moab, Utah area, in Septemeber 2010, to celebrate my 80th birthday in a way we all love -- hiking, exploring, and hanging out together. The photo is at the Castle Valley Inn B&B, about 15 miles up the Colorado River from Moab. I set this up carefully to get us and the surroundings, as a record of a great trip. A tripod, self timer, and fill flash did the job.

Kidding, but seriously, you two look amazing, and it's great to see you are out there doing the things you love. It's what keeps you looking so young!

Thanks very much for the kind comments. We are fortunate to have good health and intend to make the most of it. (My parents both lived to 100+, so I hope to keep going for a while.)

The contacts with all of you through NPN inspire me to keep learning, so thanks for that, too..
