This one was taken during a storm in the valley.
I was afraid of standing up a tripod so close to the lightnings, but thank God nothing happened.

A powerful image. Just a helpful hint...you get what you put in at this place. It is recommended to give 5 critiques for every image you post....you have a ways to go.

Stunning action Cristiano. BTW - I agree with Paul both on the power of this image but especially on your critique to post ratio. I think you will find, the more comments you make, the more comments you will receive.

A wonderful catch. Works cropped from the right too for a different emphasis.

Lots of drama. Very nice work. I agree with Paul. Be sure and comment on other's work, too.

Great storm and lightning shot, Cristiano. I like how there is the warm sky color behind the lightning strike, which really draws the focal point. The rain from the clouds is awesome. Nicely composed.

I really enjoy the crop you've chosen for this one. IT places emphasis on the massive column of rain. The warm/cool color contrast adds depth, and the lighting stitches it all together. No real nits from me.

Amazing! This is really nature's power on the grand stage. What impressive drama and action! I could see a variety of closer crops working well too.

I have shots of everything except lightening and rainbows. I can't bear to expose my toy to risk, not to mention myself. Shots like this make me want to reconsider. Excellent!

simple, effective and dramatic. perhaps there may be a little too much on the right?
