I like that I got some good light on this as well as the fish's face toward camera.

Great flight shot & the fish is a big plus. These intensely black & white birds are tough to shoot & my quibbles are possible lack of detail in the white and possibly a little more space on the right. The detail in the all-important head area is excellent. Well done1

Fine capture, Cheryl. I like the image as posted. The shady parts of the bird do seem to show less detail than the face area. However, it seems to me that's a natural outcome of the lighting. The great view we have of the fish in the bill makes this even more than an ordinary bif shot.

I like the position of the bird in the frame with it's right wing reaching up to the corner. The catchlight in its eye helps pull it out from the dark part of the head. I'm sure the fish would rather not be taking part in this photo but he can take solace in the fact that he did an outstanding job with his expression and adds a lot to the photo.

Killer image with a beautiful big fish in the bill and spot-on exposure. Doesn't get better than this and I've spent quite a bit of time trying to photograph these guys.

Beautiful image Cheryl, the sharpness you've captured from the tip of it's tail to the tip of it's beak is spot on, but the catchlight and the fact that you caught this one with the fish looking your way ("... help meeeeeeeee ...... ") sends this one over the top :^)

SWEET! THese guys are tough to catch and tough to expose, and this is just perfect.
Great pose, fish, and even a catchlight.
I think the comp is fine as is.

Super flight shot, Cheryl. Great detail where it counts, nice wing position, super detail and the fish puts it over the top.

Wonderful capture Cheryl, I like the simple "V" shaped comp the wings create.

Sweet flight shot and the fish is a real bonus. I like that you were able to pull the eye out of the black cap.
