Great Horned Owls / bubo virginianus

Two weeks ago my very well know owl introduced me her brand new baby. Chick was sleeping with face turned away... I came quietly and took some of the shots, than I was watching them for the a while , it was beautiful to see when proud mom was sitting by her side. Then I clapped my hands and the chick spread the wings (what I couldn't capture that fast ..) then turned the head and gave me a surprised look, and here we go we got the very first "Family Photo"
