White wildflower

Not sure what this flower is but it is growing along the creek behind our house. Very simple but I liked the comp it made and the contrast of the open and closed flowers.

Canon Rebel T1i. 90mm macro lens. F/10 for 1/25 sec. ISO 100.

I really like the depth and point of focus you chose for this portrait Carolyn. Well done.

Looked much like white Geranium from the thumbnail (but it does look like one). Nice composition with the bend in the stem and a good mix of blooms and buds.

I don't know what this is Carolyn but it's a fine image of it. Strong comp and great subject/ground separation.

Carolyn:
I like the curving stem and the diagonal line of the blooms (grace + tension). Nice whites and clean bg.

Beautifully sharp image, Carolyn, with perfect dof and composition. The petal whites seem just a touch high on my screen but this is lovely as is.

Carolyn, I can't ID the plant either but it sures does make a wonderful subject. Really like the structure of the flower buds and your comp and DOF decisions really bring out the best this plant has to offer. Perfect BG.
