hi folks,
It´s been a while since I became a member in this growing community; though, besides posting photos in the critique and writing in the forums, I´ve never had the moment to present myself
So, here I am shooting in a wheat field in Portuguese Alentejo plains.
I currently live in Sintra (Lisbon, Portugal). Nature Photography is a large part of my life, and generates part of my income, but not a full-time profession (along with topography - I´m a land surveyor).
I try to pursuit and evolve in an artistic and creative approach to nature photography, traveling and adventure in the wild are part of my portfolio creation.
About my photography, I´ve been awarded in the last years in national nature photography contests, I promote my work in the Internet and magazines, I write about photography technique, traveling, adventure, I offer private workshops, and I have exhibitions in a regular basis.
Thank you for taking the time and have a look!
BTW, in the shot I was making this image

I'm kind of new around NPN but I'm enjoying the experience.
Welcome!
I'm also a land surveyor in the southwestern U.S. It's a perfect fit with landscape photography, eh?

yes, indeed, not only the constant travels that allows to explore new locations, but also, the tools and knowledge about terrain interpretation, geography and military maps allows lots of studying and journeys preparation. And I confess, maybe I´m addicted to find the places names!
