Sand and Snow

My first snowy plover and I got lucky with getting close. It was a really dead day today out at the beach but this image and a few others made me happy. I really like the light on this one as well as the curved line of the beach foam and his lifted leg.

Beautiful, Cheryl. A perfect job on the exposure and the detail is superb. I like the foam or whatever hanging from the raised foot.

Nice job, Cheryl. You always handle high key type of images so well. I like this one, too.

Great job on the white plumage, you're quite the master when it comes to exposing those Cheryl :^)

The low angle really enhanced this picture and the "foam" seems suggestive of it trudging though a mass of glue creating another element of interest for me. Always enjoy looking at your work :^)

I especially like that RT foot thing - This bird has suction cups on its feet

I like the soft light here. The foam as you mentioned frames it nicely. Wonderful image.

Congrats on the snowy. Ditto others comments on exposure of the whites and the raised foot. Nice catch light too.
