Redwall Reflections

Diggin' in the archives for this one! This is from 2001 and a raft trip down the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon. We stopped and played for a while at the immense Redwall Cavern. After a game of Frisbee I decided to walk around with the camera and look for some compositions. I was intrigued with the reflections in the water and the colors on the sand and opted for a close up to get an intimate feeling.

Ricoh XR-10 (I think) with an old Vivitar zoom lens, Velvia 50, hand held. Don't remember the other technical details!

Phil:
Most excellent reflection shot. The colors are beautiful the pattern in the LLC is interesting. The squarish dark object in the LUC is a little distracting. May be a crop of the upper 1/5 to make this into a pano will take care of that; I think the greenish upper portion can be sacrificed without too much impact on the overall mood.

Very nice. the textures in the sand really add a lot to the reflection. Great colors.

The reflections look great - beautiful colors. The only thing that bothers me is the distracting, squarish shadow in the upper left corner.
