Harvestman on fern

Gallery: Macro & Close-upPosted June 19, 2011132 views6 comments

This is a daddy longlegs (Harvestman) on a fern in my garden. The BG color is from a yellowish green hosta that was behind the fern.

Canon Rebel T1i. 225mm with 31mm ext. tube. F/7.1 for 1/50 sec. ISO 400.

Cool shot, I love the bright green color! Only nit is I wish his legs were entirely within the frame, but it is really a striking image!

Carolyn:
Fabulous bg and nice perch for this spider. Artsy presentation. Like this a lot.

This is outstanding - very artistic, striking macro image because of the colors, fern design, lighting, etc.
