Ian, I like the countless diagonal lines that try to escape from all the corners and borders of the frame, but are stopped an unified by the strong circle in the center. Excellent photo.

Well, this is certainly as fine a clematis portrait as I recall seeing. Superb composition and exceptionally fine processing make this an exceptional image for my tastes Ian. Love the colors and the textures too. I hope you can tell how impressed I am with this.

Fantastic, Ian. This is a cultivated variety and is seen here in Wisconsin. Lends very well to abstracts also. Stunning details and crazy good depth of field. Its not easy to find a good specimen like this, I find most have a lot of dust and dirt on them.
