ok, so its definitely not a competition winner ! , and you'll probably pan it more than the last image....

but i'm just trying different things,

(and i personally like the fact the bunny is peeping over the grass.)

Taken at sumburgh head, amongst the puffin burrows.

the large image is without crop (so hopefully covers off any "rules" not done last time)

Techs: f4, ISO 1000 (as poor natural light), 1/1250, and 300mm lens, leaning over the wall at the edge of the cliff.

Cute. To my eyes there is just a little too much foreground and that is making the subject too central on the horizontal plane. I'd crop about a third of the oof stuff. I bet Andy Shepherds two stoats (previous post) would give this image a very favourable review!

hi robert,
Lol !
thanks for the great advice,
i did think that about the oof, but based on my previous "over cropping" ended up having second thoughts

Agree about the too central, I would have had more foreground and move him up. But I'm often wrong ask my wife :jump: :toast: :toast:

Agree on the crop. Maybe half the bottom OOF grass and Just a smidgen off the left. The little guy is cuter'n a bug's ear, so give it some dominance.

If the competition is for cuteness, you just might be on to a winner, but probably not otherwise. I like some mush in the foreground, but agree with others that there is maybe a little too much here.

It doesn't look like there is much you could have done about the circumstances in which the subject presents itself and it looks, therefore, like you made the best of the opportunity. That's all you can hope to do, so no criticism from me.

I like the concept Joanna, but this shot isn't quite there yet...sorry :frown: Having said that, that's one bunny shot more than what I've got this year!
