Touche'

by Howard Cheek

Gallery: Macro & Close-upPosted June 28, 201179 views4 comments
Bee fly on the way into a tiny Pink Wood-Sorrel (Oxalis), a native wildflower here in Central Texas.
I titled this Touche' for the extra long "sword-like" proboscis it uses to nectar..
F/8, 1/1600th, ISO 800, 1D M3, Sigma 150mm around noon, clear & sunny. Light fill used.

Excellent flight shot of this tough subject- Perfect timing, nice colours and a pleasant BG on this image- Very well done, Fabio

Great in flight capture and the flower is beautiful too. I'd hate to catch a cold with that nose.

Howard:
Great flight shot! Like the placement in the frame and the shadow on the petals as well. The bg is fabulous as well. :toast:
