Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia on a stormy, stormy night. I thought at one point the tiny cabin I was staying in, would be tossed into the ocean by the ferocious winds. Thanks for looking and for any comments and critiques.

Love the deep color and the dark squall line scudding across the brightly lit cloud. wonderful contrast. Great image

some of those clouds look pretty menacing, I like the large glowing cloud set against the rest of the clouds

Um, yeah. Clouds are fun. The sky in an image can often look kind of flat, but not this one. I am wondering how this woud look if it was a bit warmer and darker. Practically perfect in every way.

Sometimes the best color in the sky at sunset is not right where the sun went down. This is a very nicely lit pastel cloud away from the sun. It does have the look of an approaching or breaking storm.

Lovely evening light on the billowing thunderhead. The many layers of clouds is a really nice effect. The darker clouds seem overly blue to me.
