Beautiful, Sandy. Your flash was perfect as far as I'm concerned with the background leaves gradually fading to black. Basically 3 colors only and so tasteful.

Happy 4th to you too Sandy.
Beautiful image here. I like the colors but I particularly like the sense of depth the different layers create. Very nice work with the flash.

Happy 4th Sandy! The pinwheels suggest fireworks so it all works.
I have never worked with flash but this really made the flowers pop while letting the green fade away. Very well done.

Lovely image which conveys a mood of gaiety to me, Sandy. The lighting is first class - the whites of the flowers perfect and the variations in light and shade in the bg a very effective complement.

The flowers really pop out from the dark green background. The two bunches of flowers make for a nice comp. Fine image

Sandy,
I like these 'little' white flower which contrast very nicely with the darker green BG. The sharp detail of the little white also contrast very well with the softer BG. I find the simplicity very pleasing.

Sandy: What a nice find and capture. I like the light especially. This may be as close to fireworks as I get today since our drought has caused a total burn and fireworks ban This will do nicely though. Well done.>=))>

Two points of interest admirably handled, Sandy. Love the grouping - both seem to be in great shape. Happy July 4th to you too and this photo does remind us of the Fireworks.

Bill, no fireworks here either - it's 104 and the hills are a dry tinderbox just begging for fires. We also have a great many homes with very old dry shake roofs that people have been unable to afford to replace.
Nontheless, some fool is sure to start a fire somewhere with illegal fireworks.

Sandy:
Superior lighting here with flash which is not evident if you did not specify in your tech. Nice arrangement too. Happy 4th to you.

A beautiful (legal) display of fireworks for the 4th. Elegant as always and beautifully composed.

Really nice comp Sandy! The flowers just pop against that background and the contrasting pattern between the ferns and flowers work great.

A slendid composition Sandy, I really love this image. A perfect balance of weights and a great movement of whites wheels and diagonal ferns. Beautiful.
