Interesting comp with the colorful bud in the lower rhs, Eve. However, the image seems a little harsh to me: I guess more contrast and saturation than I associate with a flower. However, it's all a matter of personal taste, of course.

Interesting treatment of the wild rose, Eve. I think the bud disappears into the background. While I like the rose very much, I think the background is a bit busy and could be toned down and/or blurred a bit.
