Very interesting little critter! Wonderful colours.
The flashed head detracts, but you could dampen that if you wished. A much lighter flash would have worked better overall, imo.
To add interest, I'd place him at a diagonal comp, but fine as is.

The extreme light and contrast is a bit distracting, but I love the great detail you've captured here! He looks like he stuck a finger in a socket! I love that!
