Great eye contact and nice exposure of the whites. I'm hoping to get out to Long Island this week, be happy to leave with a shot like this.

Nice work on the whites, Luke, and sweet light. Catching him in mid-call is just icing. A fine shot.

This is one of my favorites of yours Luke. Really great pose with the head turn toward the camera, great look at the eye, and nice open beak, and of a rare bird to boot. Very nice! :toast:

One of the better shots in most ways that I've seen of a tern on flight. Your exposure is superb, great head turn with light in the eye and excellent eye contact and sharpness/detail looks good. Well done Luke.

The least terns fly past the spot where I've been shooting Black Skimmers for the past week or so and I have a fresh appreciation for how small your target was. As others have noted, you did an excellent job with the whites. I like the calling posture too.
