Nice view: I'll try a little more sharp on the trees and give some contrast to the water.

Yeah, these first two are probably just the beginning of what looks like was a very productive trip there, Sandy. I really like your processing in this as well as the first one. Keep 'em comin'.

Very good composition here Sandy. Maybe a little more pop and sharpness but not necessarily. :toast:

Makes me wish I had gone to Yosemite this year!

A lovely shot, Sandy. I like your composition with the large rock in the stream anchoring the image nicely. I like the combo of green and blue in the image, and the details are wonderful throughout. Perhaps slightly more contrast and saturation for some extra pop, but I quite like this the way it is. A beautiful scene.

Sandy,

I really like this and I'm sorry I didn't comment on this sooner. This is quite a unique view for me as I'm having a hard time placing this. I'd like to say on the walk towards Mirror Lake, but that would be Tenaya creek, no the Merced. Regardless, I really like the composition and vertical capture. The processing, colors, saturation, all that stuff are excellent. I have no nits or suggestions.

Well composed, Sandy, and good color rendition. The small version doesn't do this image justice. The larger version is quite nice.

Sandy,

Wasn't Yosemite a trip this year with all the water, and you can still see snow in the high country in the satellite photo's on NOAA. I like your choice of vertical for this composition. It really brings a sense of enclosure, and the narrowness of the canyon in this area. I'm guessing that this is below Pohono Bridge looking back towards the Valley. It doesn't look familiar cause there usually isn't this much water in the river here. Going down 140 and looking into the Merced it resembled an unnavigable rapids. Huge trees had fallen into the river because the supporting banks had been washed out. Anyway very well done and I can hear the roar of the river again in my memory.
